C3 EnviroTech Solutions

C3 EnviroTech Solutions was launched to help small and medium-sized Alberta businesses commercialize and market new environmental technologies. Western Economic Diversification Canada (WD) announced a $2-million investment in the non-profit organization, run by C3.

"By advancing the development of innovative technologies and speeding their introduction into the marketplace, this initiative will accelerate the adoption of new environmental technologies - giving us new ways to improve our environment while triggering economic growth in the region," said Calgary Centre MP Lee Richardson, representing WD at the March 23 launch.

"Many of the solutions to clean air, land and water are found in technologies ready to be deployed but struggling to become commercially available," said Simon Knight, CEO of C3 EnviroTech Solutions. "Through this project, we will help businesses access capital in the pilot and demonstration phases of product development, and we will help them access local, national and international markets."

C3 EnviroTech Solutions has provided this assistance through the creation of the Technology Solutions Hub. The hub focused on environmental technology in areas such as green building technology and renewable energy. Services provided include technology evaluation, product development through demonstration projects and market development.
